Week one is in the books! Puppies went on their first road trip to the vet to get checked out and get their dewclaws removed. The babies have already doubled their birth weight! Pups are supposed to gain 5-10% each day! They are getting stronger by the day and are starting to try to wobbly walk around. They are beginning to get pigment on the pads of their feet and on their noses. I think the cutest part that they learn how to do is wiggle their little tails when feeding! I leave them be for the most part except to weight them each day, make any adjustments to their collar size and change their bedding with clean linens. My heart is happy that these 8 are thriving and mama is taking such good care of them! Oh and Eva sure is delighted she can play fetch again!!
